A further update on the Protection of Personal Information Act:
NDA has put the necessary policies, proceedings and safeguards in place to be compliant with the conditions, as stipulated in POPI for lawful processing.
As a company we are already fully compliant in the protection of personal information as we adhere to the Debt Council of South Africa’s Code of Conduct which is promulgated in terms of section 14 of the Debt Collector’s Act 1998 (Act 114 of 1998).
NDA will only collect and process personal information pertaining to the debt handed over and are serious in our efforts to protect the personal information of our clients, debtors and employees.
We do have a data processing agreement should you wish us to send to you for signing and keeping on file.
